1. I look forward to an exciting learning experience where I could use information & communication technology (ICT) to facilitate the acquisition of clinical skills in the simulation centre.
2. To develop my digital literacy skills required to succeed in my profession in the 21st century.
3. My e-le-learning intervention will increase access to learning opportunities for all students and encourage self managed learning.
Dear Aisha, I am eager to know how you will use the clinical skills facilitation as e-learning module (especially for assessment part)?

ReplyDeleteYour blog sounds so interesting. I think that e-learning is an excellent medium to teach skills. Students can watch structured videos and do procedures. They can be talked through procedures in a step by step format. I think that that there is huge potential to learn skills, however this should not me the only medium to learn to learn.
All the best

We recently used videos in a skills setting.....we had students submit videos as an assignment of them performing a procedural skill in the laboratory. For interviews, first year students submitted videos of interviews with classmates as simulated patients.....videos are excellent and encourage repetitive practice, but are time consuming.
